Removal of Pedestrian Walkway from The Strand, Liverpool
Northover were on hand to help change Liverpool's skyline for the better. The removal of the pedestrian overpass from The Strand, in the lee of Liverpool's synonymous Liver Buildings saw The Strand close for the entire removal.
Working closely with local demolition contractor "J P Tisdale Demolition Ltd", NHL arrived in good time for the work to begin at midnight on Friday.
The bridge was removed, cut up on site on the wooden railway sleepers that had been laid down to protect the road surface and transported away.
NHL de-mobbed the site and off-hired the demolition machines early on Sunday morning to allow traffic access to the city centre again.
